Cat & Kitten Adoption
At Petfocus Vetcare we are proud to be able to provide a cat and kitten adoption program for special care homeless cats and kittens.
Cats and kittens come to us through a variety of means such as being orphaned, injured, rescued or homeless due to their carers becoming frail and elderly or whose circumstances have changed.
When these cats and kittens arrive at Petfocus we thoroughly check them over to determine their age and health status prior to making them available for adoption.
These adoption cats are given a home with a foster carer or in the clinic and cared for until they find forever homes.
Each cat or kitten is vaccinated, wormed, flea treated and desexed prior to being rehoused.
It is important to us that all our adoption cats find the perfect home so we provide a follow-up phone call and encourage updates from our adoptive parents.
Generally we generate funds through raffles and fundraising within the practice to help us support our adoption cat and kittens in the most comfortable conditions possible.
